Vendor Copyright Release
For: small businesses, vendors, clients turned business ventures, and all commercial use of my images beyond the couple's personal use.
This is good for one year from signing and will need to be renewed to extend use.
Usage Limitations
The vendor can post, use, print, and distribute images online or on marketing materials under these specs:
Up to 10 social media posts total across all platforms
Up to 5 images used on a website
Up to 3 Images used on physical marketing materials (Posters, Brochures, Banners, Postcards, etc.)
A commercial license will need to be paid for and obtained for usage beyond these limitations.
Copyright
- This copyright release transfers certain rights related to the image, such as the right to reproduce, distribute, or display it, to another party. The original photographer still retains the copyright.
- The vendor cannot sell or receive compensation for images.
- The images may not be altered in any way, unless it's a necessary crop. Carousels and collages are accepted.
- The photographer can revoke the copyright release at any point for the entire gallery or some images.
- The vendor must obey the wishes of the client if posting or distributing some potentially intimate or private images. The client can request the vendor to take down images they don't want posted.
- Emily Irene Photo Co. must be tagged or mentioned in each post or marketing campaign and given credit on the physical marketing material. Emily can also remove her tag.
- Emily Irene Photo Co. is not required to promote the vendor on social media, word of mouth, or online.
- The vendor must use good faith practices when using images from the gallery.
- Emily Irene Photo Co. can request the vendor to take an image(s) down, and the vendor must do it within 24 hours of notice.
